Spring Meeting Highlights

Highlights of the ENBIS Spring Meeting 2018 include:

Keynote Speakers:

  • Jesús Fernando López Fidalgo (University of Castilla La Mancha: Faculty of Medicine) on Bayesian Optimal Experimental Design.
  • G. Geoffrey Vining (Virginia Tech) on Planning Experiments to Improve Food Product Quality.

Contributed and award sessions:

  • A number of contributed sessions featuring presentations from both industry (on successful applications) and academia, aimed at covering the theory and applications of experimental design both in technological field and in sustainability for agri-food systems.
  • An award for the best contributed talk selected among younger researchers (below 40).

On Monday 4 June 2018, before the Spring Meeting, a half-day meeting titled
"Statistics and engineering in companies"
will take place. The pre-event aims to connect companies and academia, featuring real case-studies  solved with the help of statistics. See here (in Italian).
