From Airport to center of the city

 

In order to go from the "Eleftherios Venizelos" International Airport to the centre of Athens you have the following options:

 

Rail

A rail station immediately adjacent to the airport terminal (and accessible by an elevated walkway). The station is served by line 3 of the Athens Metro and by the Proastiakos suburban train service. The metro ticket costs €6 for 1 person, €10 for 2 persons and €15 for 3 persons. Children pay 50% off the normal ticket. The average travel time from the airport to the city centre is 40 minutes. Taxi

Taxis don't have a fixed price to and from the airport. However, there is a standard airport fee (€3.20 to and from the airport), a standard luggage fee (€0.30 per luggage) and the cost of tolls if Attiki Odos is used. The average price from and to the city centre during the day is €30, and €40 during the night hours (00:00-05:00).

 

Bus

Three bus lines are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the lower level of the terminal. During early morning hours, they leave and reach the airport every 30 minutes, whereas in the afternoon and evening hours, the frequency is 15 minutes. The bus ticket can be purchased onboard or at the ticket stand next to the station and costs €3.20.

Access to the Conference Place at the Athens University of Economics and Business

1. By Metro Line 1 (Piraeus-Kifissia) direction to Kifissia, Victoria station (about 200 m from the venue). (see map below)

 

2. By taxi: In case you take a taxi, you should tell to the taxi driver to drive you at the Athens University of Economics and Business (Ikonomiko Panepistimio or ASOEE in Greek language) to Patision (or 28 Octovriou) street. It will cost you about 9 euros, if you choose to stay in President or Athinais hotel and less than 5 euros if you choose to stay in Titania or Pythagorion hotel. The Park as well as the Museum hotel is just 5 minutes walk away from the venue.
