The GDR MASCOT-NUM is a French Research Group dealing with stochastic methods for the analysis of numerical codes. Its main objective is to coordinate research efforts in this scientific area, which is often called design, modeling and analysis of computer experiments. Its activities involve many techniques of applied mathematics. The addressed research topics encompass the design, modeling and analysis of computer experiments with applications to uncertainty quantification, global sensitivity analysis, optimization and related fields.

The 10th venue of the Mascot-Num annual conference will be the Ecole des Mines de St-Étienne (France). The conference will take place from the 8th to the 10th of April 2015. As for the past editions, the first day will be dedicated to PhD student talks with a 1000 euros award for the best presentation. The following two days are devoted to invited lectures covering actual hot topics but also some courses on the state of the art of related fields.
