Founding Conference European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics
A conference on the occasion of the official launch of a new European network.The European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics ENBIS provides a forum for the dynamic exchange of ideas and facilitate networking among statistical practitioners. It aims to stimulate the application of statistical methods in European business and industry.
During the one-day founding conference ENBIS will be officially launched as a statistical network. The choice of speakers reflects the network's diverse audience, consisting of scientists and practitioners, who are working in academia, commerce, or industry. In the afternoon, working groups are organised to stimulate the networking aspect of ENBIS.
The founding conference will be followed by a short course on Design of Experiments by Prof. Søren Bisgaard.

Conference location: Auditorium of the University of Amsterdam. The address is: Aula, Singel 411, Amsterdam. The auditorium is in the centre of Amsterdam and can easily be reached by public transportation (tram lines 1, 2, 5; tram stop at 'Spui') or on foot.

Working groups are an extremely important activity in our network. That is why they form an important part of this conference. The success of these workgroups strongly depends on personal involvement. We are working on the details of the organisation of the workgroups. The conference fee is 100 Euros for registrations that are received before November 1st, and 200 Euros for registrations that are received after that date. There is no conference fee for participants of the DOE course by Prof. Bisgaard.
